Runner, yoga, life changer, avid reader, mom, adventurer and work-life balance advocate. I write on everything from education to balance to food to food to my opinions on, well, lots. I believe we can all have our cake and eat it, too.
I've been featured in everything from Entrepreneur to Redbook to The New York Times and may best be known as the founder of Cubes&Crayons. I believe we are only on this planet once and I certainly going to make the most of the time I'm here. I am a big dreamer and live by the motto "Go Big or Go Home." New ventures are already in the works even as Cubes&Crayons expands nationally.
My first book, Take the Cake, coming out this Fall 2010: "Part Zen with a no nonsense attitude, Take the Cake delivers the goods to have our cake and eat it, too. It's never too late to live the life you want."
This blog is a compilation of ideas, thoughts, challenges and joys that I encounter every day. It focuses on living my best life. This fall, I enter a PhD program in Education Reform & Policy, so expect me to get on my soapbox more than once. But it's not just about me, so please contribute and if you want to be a regular contributor, let me know. I promise nothing but laughter, tears, and passion.
